At Playtime Therapy, we believe in the power of yoga to promote wellness for children. Our sensory-based kids yoga combines the benefits of yoga with sensory techniques to create a nurturing and therapeutic experience.
Here’s what makes our program special:
Yoga sessions are lead by experienced yoga instructors and occupational therapists. Our sessions are filled with playful yoga poses, breathing exercises, and mindfulness activities tailored for children. Each session is carefully crafted to be enjoyable, interactive, and developmentally appropriate.
Yoga classes focus on teaching skills like coping with stressors, self-regulation, body awareness, coordination, self-confidence, and mindfulness. Sessions include use of props, textures, and mindful movements to enhance sensory awareness and regulation.
